This site is unlike their other vineyards which are\n\u003cbr\u003emostly black volcanic soil with heavy amounts of limestone on the\n\u003cbr\u003esurface. The vines run north to south gaining full sun exposure\n\u003cbr\u003ethroughout the day resulting in perfectly ripened grapes. The Pinot\n\u003cbr\u003eNoir clones originally planted in the vineyard were Côte-d’Or\n\u003cbr\u003eorigin 114 and 115 clones, which produce wines with good\n\u003cbr\u003epotential for ageing.
