Hand-harvested in an excellent cool vintage, the grapes are whole-bunch pressed and barrel-fermented, followed by maturation for 9 months in a mix of new and used French oak barriques to build texture and complexity while preserving vibrancy. This flagship single-vineyard expression embodies sustainable practices and yields a bright straw wine with green highlights and remarkable energy.

Tasting Notes A taut, refined white with high-energy citrus and mineral drive, reflecting Upper Yarra Valley's cool-climate tension. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and poised, with tremendous acidity, fine creamy texture, and flavors of stone fruit, quince, and wet stone, leading to a long, powerful finish.

Awards and Accolades The 2018 Lusatia Yarra Valley Chardonnay earned 96 points from Halliday Wine Companion for its taut refinement and very long carry.

Serving and Cellaring Serve chilled at 10-12°C with 20-30 minutes of advance chilling to highlight aromas.
