Attanasio Primitivo di Manduria Riserva 2011

Luca Attanasio lovingly produces this great wine, which encapsulates all the family traditions and therefore bears his name, harvesting the fruit of Primitivo vines proudly planted by his father for his sons.  From Primitivo grapes grown on red earth, in soil kissed by the southern sun and caressed by the Ionian breeze, comes a powerful wine, which finds first in steel and then in oak the cradles that bring it to birth.  Primitivo di Manduria Attanasio is a generous and authentic wine, characterised by a fascinating deep red colour. It inebriates the nose with intense and complex aromas of ripe berries and plums. In the mouth it is rich, warm, deep, with enveloping fruity aromas and great structure. Its freshness is balanced, with good tannin and a great final persistence.
