The round, polished and once again caressing medium weight flavors possess solid mid-palate volume that is open and accessible yet the slightly fruity finish tightens up noticeably. After 14 months of breeding wines are taken away in tank during 3 months and bottled without filtration and sticking. A dress of cherry-red one clear and crystal clear. In the nose, the dominant of red berries and black with a touch of spices as the black pepper. The mouth is dense with a beautiful freshness and one finale enrobante.

One of Burgundy’s fastest rising young stars, David Duband has been making wines since 1991 when he left military service to make wines in partnership with Parisian lawyer François Feuillet. Since then, David and M. Feuillet have gradually acquired some of the best quality vineyards in Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-St-Georges. The pedigree of these vineyards, combined with Duband’s precocious talent, has resulted in some of the most exciting wines in Burgundy. They have been recognized recently by La Revue du Vin de France (one of France’s leading wine guides), when they awarded the Domaine their coveted 3 stars, along with other super stars like DRC, Leroy and Georges Roumier.

Today, Duband’s wines are distributed under both the Domaine David Duband and Domaine François Feuillet labels. In recent years, David has tempered his more modern style with a precise expression of terroir and fruit, creating wines which as the Burghound scores below indicate, grace even the most discerning collector’s cellar.
