The typical Mosel-Kabinett should taste tender, fresh and fine. It is made from healthy, normally ripened grapes that are picked at the beginning of the harvest. The cabinet is a predicate wine, in which, in contrast to the QbA, no chaptalization (enrichment) is allowed. Kabinett wines must have a minimum must weight of 73 ° Oe and, according to the VDP statutes, may no longer be dry.
