This very elegant Rose overwhelms the nose with aromas of freshly picked strawberries, rose petal & cherry flavours. It is made from Grenache & Viognier, crushed & pressed, leaving the skins soaking for an hour or two then cold fermentation in stainless tanks to ensure the freshness.

Ken Forrester is one of South Africa’s leading winemakers. He worked in restaurants and hotels for several years before acquiring the historic Zandberg vineyard in the heart of Stellenbosch. With most of this vineyard planted with Chenin Blanc, it was decided to enlist the help of good friend and top winemaker, Martin Meinert, with the challenge to produce Chenin Blanc that could rival any white wine in the world. Ken Forrester is a certifed organic winery. Ken Forrester farms sustainably with no herbicides or pesticides, till by hand, hugely labour intensive, but very satisfying. Prune, thin bunches and leaves are all by done hand and all the fruits are harvested by hand.
