BenMarco Expresivo Gualtallary is a linear and fresh wine, composed mainly of Malbec and with a touch of Cabernet Franc. With aromas of blackberry, aguaribay and violets, it stands out for its mineral notes, balanced natural acidity and firm tannins and for its great aging potential.
Gualtallary is one of the highest points not only in the Uco Valley or Mendoza, but in all of Argentina. Its vineyards are over 1,500 meters high, and this altitude allows the vine to be exposed to a cold and austere climate, giving it a strong and intense character. In addition to its low temperatures, this area is renowned for its calcareous alluvial soils.
The Gualtallary farm, located within a complex geological environment, is divided into two portions, which are called Monasterio and Albo. In addition, five standard profiles and twenty-one plots with different characteristics have been delimited within it.
