Brilliant, multi-layered and fresh bouquet, featuring vineyard-peaches, white flowers and lemon (cedro) peel combined with some cool spice; on the pallet dry & fresh again, crystal clear and full of grace, featuring lemon zest and white currant with a touch of juvenile yeast, very dense and energetic at first, then full of finesse showing a long mineral & spicey finish, an excellent representant of this great Heiligenstein vintage.

The Bründlmayer family owns 12 hectares right in the centre of the Zöbinger Heiligenstein. It's not only the oldest but probably also the most interesting on our estate: the soil consists of approximately 270 Mio years old Perm desert sandstone.

This property which is settled in the Kamptal appellation is masterfully run by Willi Bründlmayer, his son Vincent and Andreas Wickhoff MW. Willi has been one of Europe’s most enterprising but also most thoughtful and idealistic winegrowers for decades. In his quest to optimize the harvest, the Bründlmayer team works tirelessly at improving cultivation methods on this beautiful estate. In particular, Willi has applied the lyre training system – a method devised and developed in France, in order to assist a balanced ripening process and development of aromas. With the 2018 vintage, all estate wines will be organically certified.
