(Wine Advocate Score 89) The new release of Piper-Heidsieck's NV Cuvée Brut is performing nicely, delivering notes of toasted brioche, yellow orchard fruit, peach, honeycomb and biscuits. Medium to full-bodied, it is elegantly fleshy and precise, with lively acids, well-integrated dosage and a pinpoint mousse.
This signature cuvee of the House is a round and vibrant non-vintage Cuvee Brut recalling the rich variety of its blend of 100 crus from across the patchwork of Champagne vineyards. 50-55% pinot noir, 30-35% pinot meunier, 15-20% chardonnay. 10-20 reserve wines. Dosage 10g/L.
