David Duband Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers 2021

David Duband Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers 2021

From the acclaimed Domaine David Duband in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers 2021 is a refined red from Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir, sourced from the Les Sentiers vineyard on limestone-clay soils near Les Amoureuses, it’s hand-harvested and fermented with 50% whole clusters. Aged 14–16 months in French oak (30% new), it reflects the delicate 2021 vintage with a ruby hue and elegant complexity.

Winemaking Process

Duband’s organic approach defines this wine. The 2021 vintage, from 40-year-old vines, undergoes partial whole-cluster fermentation in stainless steel tanks to enhance aromatics. Gentle extraction and aging in 30% new French oak for 14–16 months preserve fruit purity, creating a Premier Cru with finesse and long aging potential.
