What is special about this wine?

Most white wines are not fermented with skin.  This is an unusual white made with skin maceration resulting in a white wine with tannins. A very pretty skin maceration white , an amber color, from a blend of Vermentino, Maccabeu, Sauvignon and a touch of Malvasia from Roussillon.

Grapes: 68 % Vermentino (20 year old vineyard) and 32 % Macabeu (24 year old vineyards on average)
Yield : 20 hl/ha
Production : 2400 bottles
Viticulture: Biodynamic viticulture with ploughing, Bush vines (gobelet), Hand harvested
Vinification: Whole bunch maceration for 15 days, then pressing. Natural yeasts.
Ageing: 12 month in oak
