Joseph Drouhin Gevrey-Chambertin 2022

Joseph Drouhin Gevrey-Chambertin 2022

From the prestigious Maison Joseph Drouhin in Beaune, the Gevrey-Chambertin 2022 is a refined red from Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir, sourced from clay-limestone vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin, it’s hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel and oak vats. Aged 14–18 months in French oak (20% new), it reflects the promising 2022 vintage with a ruby hue and elegant complexity.

Winemaking Process

Drouhin’s biodynamic approach shines in this wine. The 2022 vintage undergoes gentle maceration and fermentation in stainless steel and oak vats to preserve fruit purity. Aging for 14–18 months in 20% new French oak barrels enhances structure while maintaining finesse, creating a village-level Gevrey-Chambertin with excellent aging potential.
