Sourced from La Spinetta's 11-acre Bordini vineyard in Neive (Barbaresco DOCG) with southeast exposure on light-colored calcareous marl soils, the 2022 reflects the estate's modern approach to terroir expression. Hand-harvested Nebbiolo undergoes 15 days maceration and fermentation in temperature-controlled vats, malolactic in second-use French oak barrels, 16-18 months oak aging, and 6-8 months bottle rest before release at 14.5% alcohol, yielding around 9,000-10,000 bottles of precise, aromatic Barbaresco.

Tasting Notes
Light ruby red; inviting aromas of small red berries, raspberry, rose petals, frangipani, licorice, crushed flowers, and dried strawberry with floral, herbes de Provence, and cedar nuances. Medium- to full-bodied palate offers complex fruity-herbal layers, vivid freshness, smooth integrated tannins, balsamic spice, ginger, and a fine, persistent, elegant finish blending mineral drive and soft texture.
