Lustau Oloroso Don Nuño NV

From Bodegas Lustau in Jerez de la Frontera, the Oloroso Don Nuño NV is a refined 100% Palomino sherry from chalky albariza soils. Aged oxidatively for 12 years in a solera system at Bodega La Campana, it offers a dark bronze hue with vibrant complexity.

Tasting Notes

A rich, nutty sherry with dry, intense finesse, showcasing Jerez’s terroir.
The nose reveals toffee, toasted almonds, and dried apricot, with hints of brown sugar and earthy spice. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and dry, with tangy acidity, a nutty texture, and flavors of caramel, peach, and a long, toasty finish.

Awards and Accolades

92 Points - James Suckling "In spite of the massive tarte-tatin character in the nose, this is mouth-filling but bone dry and powerful with a rather silky finish for a dry Oloroso (which tends to bitterness and austerity). Drink now."

Food Pairings

Pair this sherry with Western dishes like ibérico ham or manchego cheese to highlight its nutty and toasty notes. For Chinese cuisine, try 蒸鮮蝦餃, 清蒸石斑魚, 蟹鉗, 醬爆肉丁, 椒鹽九肚魚, or 豉椒炒蜆 to complement its tangy acidity and minerality. Ideal for tapas or seafood feasts.

Serving and Cellaring

Serve chilled at 14°C in a white wine glass to enhance aromas. Enjoy now or cellar until 2028 for added complexity. Explore our Jerez collection for more sherry classics.
