From southwest-oriented old vineyards in Rioja Alta's Obarene Mountains, Torre Muga represents Bodegas Muga's modern flagship with manual harvest into 200-kilo crates. Fermented in wooden vats with indigenous yeasts (no temperature control) and up to 3 weeks maceration, it undergoes malolactic in new French oak (Allier/Tronçais) casks for 16-18 months followed by final assemblage and light fining with fresh egg whites.
