- (Merlot 30% / Cabernet Sauvignon 65% / Cabernet Franc 5%)The year 1990 is characterized above all by a great precocity, which one could observe by the early budding in the vines, in advance by approximately ten days from the normal date. Once the time to harvest had come, the grapes health were ripe and in perfect condition. Their high content in sugar, concentration and the quality of tannins reached particularly high levels.
- (Merlot 41% / Cabernet Sauvignon 53% / Cabernet Franc 6%)The vintage 1994 was early. The sanitary state of the harvest was very good with high contents in sugar, and stronger acidities than vintages 1990 and 1982, which has given a good balance sugar-acidity. The climatic conditions during summer allowed an excellent maturity of the grapes.
- (Merlot 36% / Cabernet Sauvignon 56% / Cabernet Franc 8%) The vintage 1995 is characterised by an early budburst and very good climatic conditions : high temperature, important sunny days, only 36 mm of rain during June, July and August. The rain during the beginning of the harvest did not affect the perfect sanitary state of the grapes. The musts, rapidly coloured, were featured by a high rate of alcohol by volume and a good acidity, which means a very good quality vintage.
- (Merlot 38% / Cabernet Sauvignon 56% / Cabernet Franc 6%) Following an early budburst, the month of June, which was very hot, has given a veryhomogeneous flowering. Summer in the M doc, was dry. But the arrival of an anticyclone from the 26th of August, and during 24 days, has contributed to high quality of this vintage. The harvest started under the rain, but there was no effect on the sanitary state of the grapes, rich in sugar, with high acidity and dense skins. The first pumpings-over gave noble and concentrated tannins, with bright fruit.
- (Merlot 48% / Cabernet Sauvignon 45% / Cabernet Franc 7%) An outstanding vintage. A hot and dry climate produced perfectly ripe grapes with thick skins, which protected them from the rains in September.
- (Merlot 34% / Cabernet Sauvignon 61% / Cabernet Franc 5%) The beginning of summer was muggy, then the weather became dry with very high temperatures. The day before the harvest, the maturity of phenolic components was reached. The thinning out of leaves on both faces, on all the vinetard, allowed to reduce the impact of rains fell at the end of September, and to improve the tannins’ structure.
