From Tenuta San Leonardo in Trentino, the Riesling 2021 is a refined wine from clay-limestone soils near the Dolomites. Hand-harvested from organic vineyards, it’s fermented in stainless steel with brief cold maceration and aged in large oak tonneaux, offering a pale straw hue with vibrant complexity.

The nose reveals orange marmalade, white peach, and orange blossom, with hints of flinty minerality and sweet smoke. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and dry, with zesty acidity, a finessed texture, and flavors of green apple, melon sorbet, and a long, salted finish.

The 2021 Riesling earned 94 points from James Suckling for its complex, bittersweet profile and 91 points from Vinous for its finessed, dry elegance in the 2021 vintage.
