Vincent Girardin Bourgogne Rouge Terroir Noble 2022

From the esteemed Maison Vincent Girardin in Santenay, Burgundy, the Bourgogne Rouge Terroir Noble 2022 is a refined Pinot Noir from 40-year-old vines around Volnay and Pommard in the Côte de Beaune. Hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel with biodynamic practices, it’s aged 12 months in French oak (20% new). This wine offers a ruby hue and vibrant elegance, reflecting the excellent 2022 vintage.

Winemaking Process

Girardin’s biodynamic approach, led by winemaker Eric Germain, shapes this wine. The 2022 vintage undergoes gentle fermentation in stainless steel with minimal intervention, followed by 12 months of aging in French oak barrels (20% new). This process preserves fruit purity while adding subtle oak structure, creating a light-bodied Pinot Noir with silky tannins and bright acidity, ideal for early enjoyment.
