Collection: Egly Ouriet

Established in 1930 with about eight ha of vineyards and they are all located in Grand Cru villages. Most of the vineyards are in Ambonnay with the rest in Bouzy and Verzenay, all famous for the planing of Pinot Noir. Vines are generally between 30 to 50 years old.

Egly-Ouriet's Pinot Noir based champagnes are among the most sought-after wines in Champagne and rightly so. Grapes used are of optimal ripeness and wines are rich and with great ageing potential. Wines are fermented in oak barrel. After second fermentation, wines are never fined or filtered. The use of sulfur is kept to the minimum. The wines will typically spend between three and four years on lees but can sometimes be much longer.
