Caparzo is one of the most significant producers in Brunello. Quality has been high, sometimes very high indeed, as in certain vintages of Vigna La Casa which can be remarkably concentrated, deep and powerful with very ripe, fine tannins in the best years. Wines of the mid and late-1990s (96 excepted) maintained the reputation.
