(Wine Advocate Score 95+) The single-vineyard 2014 Las Lamas follows the same path as the rest of the 2014s: very good freshness and precision, floral and perfumed, elegant and nuanced, with a terribly balanced palate and a little less body than the 2015 but more approachable with its gentle character. This bottling has been on fire since 2012, when they realized they needed slightly higher yields than they had in the past, and it means the ripeness has been more perfect since then. 3,090 bottles. It was bottled in March 2016.

Las Lamas is farmed at very low yields (15 hl/hr) some at an altitude of over 700 metres. Lifted, floral and intense nose with black cherries, meat and spice. The palate is open, sweet and spicy, showing some savoury grip. Striking and quite distinctive, and quite mineral.
