From the visionary Descendientes de J. Palacios estate in Bierzo, Spain, the Villa de Corullón 2022 is a refined village wine by Álvaro Palacios and Ricardo Pérez. Crafted from 95% Mencía and 5% mixed varieties (Palomino, Godello, Alicante Bouschet), sourced from 90 biodynamic plots around Corullón on schist soils, it’s fermented in oak and stainless steel. Winemaking Process

Palacios’ biodynamic approach defines this wine. The 2022 vintage, from 60–100-year-old vines at 300–1,000 meters, undergoes gentle fermentation in oak vats and stainless steel tanks, with minimal extraction to preserve fruit purity. Aging for 14 months in French oak barriques (previously used) adds structure, creating a floral, mineral-driven wine with long aging potential.
