(Wine Advocate Score 92) The 2014 Terroir Series Malbec Finca Orellana comes from an old vineyard in La Consulta in the Valle de Uco. This vintage is dark, ripe and concentrated, perhaps a little like the 2012, a little darker (fruit and spices) and with a round and lush palate with glossy tannins and a soft mouthfeel. It is marginally riper and rounder than the 2013. 20,000 bottles produced.

A Malbec of deep red color with ruby hues. Intense aromas of dark fruit with notes of smoke, mint, spices, thyme, graphite, and licorice. In the mouth, it is fruity and minerally with gripping tannins and a lingering finish.
