From Viña Concha y Toro in Chile's Limarí Valley, the Amelia Chardonnay 2021 is a refined 100% Chardonnay sourced from the Quebrada Seca vineyard on limestone-rich colluvial soils just 22 km from the Pacific, fostering exceptional freshness and minerality. Hand-harvested grapes from the cool, balanced 2021 vintage undergo whole-cluster pressing, fermentation in French oak barrels (30% new), and 11 months' aging on fine lees with bâtonnage to enhance texture and complexity. Committed to sustainable viticulture, this flagship white yields a pale gold wine with green highlights and striking purity.

Tasting Notes An elegant, mineral-driven white with vibrant citrus and chalky finesse, reflecting Limarí's coastal limestone terroir. The nose reveals lemon zest, white peach, green apple, and hints of wet stone and toasted almond. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and precise, with crisp acidity, silky texture, and flavors of citrus pith, pear, and chalky minerality, leading to a long, saline finish.

Awards and Accolades The 2021 Amelia Chardonnay earned 94 points from James Suckling for its bright acidity, creamy texture, and mineral-driven length.

Serving and Cellaring Serve at 10-12°C with 20-30 minutes of chilling to accentuate aromas. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with oysters, grilled fish, or goat cheese. Enjoy now through 2033, during which it will develop enhanced nutty and honeyed nuances.
