From Ryan Vineyard planted 1998 on Mt. Harlan's high-elevation limestone soils inspired by Burgundy, biodynamically farmed for low yields and concentration; 2019's temperate weather yielded vibrant acidity and pure fruit. Native fermentation with gentle extraction, aged in French oak (30% new) for 16-18 months to integrate spice and structure while preserving freshness at 14.0% alcohol.
