(Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy Score 94 on Vintage 2017) A good holding, with vines averaging 45 to 50 years old. Light primrose, a little whiff of sulphur at the moment, but a feeling of very good fruit density as well. This really kicks on behind, multi-layered, very good flesh on the bones but still fresh lively and mineral. Strict but wants to be generous. Tasted: October 2018.
