This is Taittinger’s licensed FIFA World Cup 2026 limited edition of the Brut Réserve NV, produced from the house blend drawn across roughly 35–40 crus and assembled to Taittinger’s established Réserve style. The limited edition features a dark/holographic bottle design and a special gift box created for the tournament release; technical notes for the standard Brut Réserve indicate a blend near 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier and approx. 12% ABV. The cuvée is aged on lees to develop texture and complexity before release, following the house’s non‑vintage Réserve protocol.
Tasting Notes
Expect a pale gold colour with lively, fine bubbles; aromas of citrus (lemon, grapefruit), white flowers and brioche; the palate typically shows crisp citrus and orchard fruit, gentle autolytic bread/yeast notes from lees ageing, a rounded mid‑palate and a fresh, lingering finish.
Serving and Cellaring
Serve well chilled (8–10°C) in a tulip or flute to preserve mousse and aromatic lift; decanting is unnecessary. As a non‑vintage blend intended for near‑term enjoyment, drink on release; the bottle can be kept for a few years.
