(Allen Meadows Burghound Score 89-91) Serafin indicated that the malo had only just finished and not surprisingly this was strongly reduced. As it always is this is denser and more powerful than the straight Gevrey cuvée with a bit more tannic scaffolding as well on the robust, mouth coating and impressively persistent finish where the rusticity is more pronounced. While still a bit awkward this appears to have everything it needs to be a first-rate Gevrey villages. Worth considering.
