(Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy Score 87)Clear bright colour. This is the ripest I have tasted Clos de Four, judging from the first nose. Very generous and there is ripe peach, soft and luscious, a gorgeous wine but not typical for this vineyard. Long finish on the sunshine, the balance saved by keeping its usual acidity. I think this is a lovely wine but those familiar with Clos de Four should note the unusual character this year.
