Sourced from five vineyards (mostly Hemel-en-Aarde, one higher inland), 50% whole cluster naturally fermented with minimal extraction over 4 weeks on skins. Family-run Crystallum (Finlayson brothers) crafts this entry-level Pinot from Walker Bay's cool-climate sites, blending for complexity (pH 3.50, TA 5.6 g/L, RS 2.1 g/L, TS 62 mg/L).

Tasting Notes

Light bright cherry red with sweet perfumed red fruit, stemmy herbs, floral notes. Pretty scented palate shows fruit vibrancy, hint of oak, very fine tannins. Also damson, wild strawberry, cocoa, rhubarb, cranberry, dark chocolate, maraschino cherry, dry grippy finish.
