From Cuvelier Los Andes in Argentina’s Uco Valley, Mendoza, the Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is a refined 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from younger vines in the Vista Flores district on alluvial soils at high elevation, capturing the region's sunny days and cool nights for balanced ripeness. Hand-harvested grapes from the even 2019 vintage undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 months' aging in French oak barrels to enhance structure and spice. Rooted in Bordeaux-inspired techniques by the Cuvelier family, this varietal wine yields a deep ruby color with vibrant intensity and approachable elegance.

Tasting Notes An elegant, spicy red with ripe berry and peppery depth, reflecting Mendoza’s high-altitude terroir. The nose reveals ripe blackberry, jam, roasted red pepper, and hints of white pepper and earth. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied and textured, with reactive tannins, balanced acidity, and flavors of dark fruit, black pepper, and subtle oak, leading to a long, monolithic finish.

Awards and Accolades The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon earned 92 points from Binny's for its indulgent mouthfeel and reactive tannins.

Serving and Cellaring Serve at 16-18°C with 45 minutes of decanting to enhance aromas. Ideal with grilled beef, herb-roasted lamb, or aged cheeses. Enjoy now through 2034, developing greater leather and earthy notes over time.
