(Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy Score 92) Claude de Nicolay speaks of ‘A walk in the woods after the rain’ for Bressandes. Palish pink purple in colour. 80% whole bunch vinification, is reflected in some lightly vegetal and wild berry nuances to the nose. Velvet and lace texture. Middleweight plus, with the most gorgeous alpine strawberry notes on the palate. Fairly persistent. Tasted: July 2019.

Terroir
This cuvee comes from 4 parcels situated mid-slope and spread in homogenous fashion over the whole appellation. The soils are deep and made up in equal parts of limestone and clay, giving the wine lovely balance and great length on the palate. It is a terroir that is very representative of the appellation CORTON.
Tasting
Here, terroir expresses itself strongly but the wine remains elegant, although powerful. A lovely sensation of opulence and fullness, with a very persistent finish and enveloped in a tannic structure that is fine but quite present. Hints of forest floor aromas are found in it, from its earliest youth. With age, it moves towards wilder flavours.
