From Domaine des Varoilles in Burgundy’s Gevrey-Chambertin, the La Romanée Monopole 2018 is a refined 100% Pinot Noir from a one-hectare vineyard with 60-year-old vines on gravel and limestone soils. Aged in French oak barrels (20% new), it offers a deep ruby hue with vibrant complexity.
