Les Clousots blends upper-slope Les Clous (heavy clay soils, 1m deep) with Les Crotots adjacent to Premier Cru Les Porusots (clay-limestone), hand-harvested by the 10-ha family domaine founded 1945. Chardonnay undergoes traditional barrel fermentation (indigenous yeasts), 17-18 months lees aging in French oak, and light filtration before bottling, producing powerful yet fresh Meursault at 13% alcohol with excellent aging potential.
Tasting Notes
