At the entrance to Prémeaux, Le Clos des Corvées is bounded to the west by the alignment of flat stones along the Chemin des Dalles, a unique case on the Côte. This path, which was used from the 10th century by the monks of Saint-Vivant-Sous-Vergy, would follow the route of an old Roman road. The recomposition of Clos des Corvées, fragmented in the Middle Ages, is the work of two enthusiasts: the founder of the famous Geisweiler trading house, in the 19th century, and the French general Denis Joseph Gouachon, at the beginning of the 20th century. The 5.2 hectare plot is one of the largest single-block monopolies on the coast.
