The red volcanic rock of the Ürziger Würzgarten make it unique on the Middle Moselle. Although located directly upstream from the top vineyards in Erden, this vineyard produces a completely different type of great wine, with exotic, spicy aromas and great depth. In addition to the wines from the prelate, they are our wines with the greatest aging potential. "Spätlese" is a label for quality wines. The grapes are more ripe than in the "Kabinett". With us, Spätlese wines are residual sweet wines that are characterized by their low alcohol content. They are full-bodied, deep and complex.
