Gaja Sito Moresco Langhe 2021

Gaja Sito Moresco Langhe 2021

From the iconic Gaja estate in Barbaresco, Piedmont, the Sito Moresco Langhe 2021 is a refined red blending tradition and innovation. Crafted from 35% Nebbiolo, 30% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Barbera, sourced from Langhe vineyards on clay-calcareous soils, it’s fermented in stainless steel and aged 18 months in oak barrels. This wine offers a ruby hue and vibrant complexity, reflecting Gaja’s signature style.

Winemaking Process

Gaja’s meticulous craftsmanship shapes this wine. The 2021 vintage undergoes separate vinification for each grape variety in stainless steel tanks, followed by blending and 18 months of aging in used oak barrels. This approach softens tannins, preserves fruit freshness, and creates a harmonious, approachable wine with Piedmont’s elegant character.
