Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc 2024

From the renowned Greywacke estate in Marlborough, New Zealand, founded by Kevin Judd, the Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is a refined white showcasing the region’s iconic style. Crafted from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from prime vineyards in the Wairau Plains and Southern Valleys on greywacke-rich soils, it’s fermented primarily in stainless steel with a portion in old oak. This wine offers a pale straw hue and vibrant complexity.

Winemaking Process

Greywacke’s artisanal approach defines this wine. The 2024 vintage, from low-yielding vines, is hand- and machine-harvested under cool conditions, lightly pressed, and fermented mostly in stainless steel with cultured yeast, with a small portion using wild yeast in old oak barrels. Aging on lees adds texture, creating a balanced, concentrated wine with Marlborough’s signature zest.
