From Domaine Henri Bourgeois, a family estate spanning ten generations in France’s Pouilly-Fumé appellation, the JS-150 2022 is a refined 100% Sauvignon Blanc sourced from old vines on clay-limestone slopes that impart richness and minerality. Hand-harvested grapes from the balanced 2022 vintage—marked by warm days and cool nights yielding concentrated yet fresh fruit—undergo gentle pressing, with 80% fermented in stainless steel tanks and 20% in French oak barrels, followed by lees aging to enhance texture and complexity. Committed to sustainable viticulture with organic certification, this production yields a pale straw wine with green highlights and remarkable finesse.

Tasting Notes An elegant, mineral-driven white with ripe citrus and subtle smoky depth, reflecting Pouilly-Fumé’s calcareous terroir. The nose reveals citrus, pear, quince, green plum, and hints of white flowers, white pepper, and flinty minerality. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and poised, with lively acidity, fine texture, and flavors of chalky notes, herbaceous elements, and balanced richness, leading to a long, persistent finish.

Awards and Accolades The 2022 JS-150 earned 93 points from James Suckling. "A well-crafted, bright and lively white with notes of sliced apples, pears, wild herbs and some stones. It’s medium-bodied with bright acidity. Minerally and vertical with plenty of drive and precision. Lot of verve and energy with a long, well-driven finish and a lift of flint. Drink or hold."

Serving and Cellaring Serve at 10-12°C with 20-30 minutes of chilling to accentuate aromas. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with shellfish, goat cheese, or herb-roasted poultry. Enjoy now through 2035, during which it will develop enhanced honeyed and herbal nuances.
