(Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy Score 90-92) Fine deep purple, with a significantly plumper nose here. The fruit comes from 8 lieux dits, the vines aged from 40 to 100 years. Sumptuous deep raspberry with some ripe strawberry on top, harmonious rich but graceful too. A lovely expression. Some spicy notes too as Henri Magnien (Charles’ grandfather) liked.
