Viré-Clessé is a relatively new appellation in the Mâconnais region of southern Burgundy and the most recently created of the region's communal titles.  This wine is sourced from multiple pacerls in the Vire commune.  Indigenous yeast fermentation in 45-48hL foudres and 500L demi-muids. Aged for 9 to 10 months on fine lees, racked pre-bottling.
