Hubert Lamy Saint Aubin La Princee 2021 is a village-level Chardonnay from multiple high-density parcels in Saint-Aubin's cool combe on chalky soils, blending energy, orchard fruit purity, and chalky tension despite frost-affected low yields. Pale straw in color, it offers Granny Smith apple, citrus, and mineral drive with lively structure.

From nearly 3 hectares across 10 parcels (En Joncul, Traversaine, En l'Ebaupin, Le Banc, Champ Tirant) in Saint-Aubin's east-facing valley, with 1/3 of vines over 60 years old on limestone-rich soils; biodynamic farming by Olivier Lamy. Whole-bunch pressed, barrel-fermented with 33% new oak, extended lees aging (up to 24 months total), emphasizing vibrancy and site transparency in the taut 2021 vintage at 13% alcohol.

Tasting Notes
Pale lemon; aromas of Granny Smith apples, lemon-lime, pear essence, white flowers, and petrichor. Medium-bodied palate is taut, linear, chalky, and balanced with sweet fruit core, tangy acids, savory edge, modest weight, fine volume, and a youthfully firm, mineral-driven finish.
