Sourced from Les Bras vineyard in Santenay at the southern end of Côte de Beaune, featuring limestone-marl soils that impart distinctive minerality to the Chardonnay. Hand-harvested grapes undergo barrel fermentation (partial new French oak), partial malolactic conversion, and lees aging for 10-12 months, creating a powerful yet balanced white Burgundy at 13% alcohol that showcases the domaine's signature depth and finesse.
Tasting Notes
Clear lemon color; aromas of apple, pear, lemon, butter, vanilla, nuts, and minerals. Powerful yet delicate palate with ripe fruit, hazelnut and butter nuances, precise acidity, dry mouthfeel, substantial body, and long aftertaste blending richness and freshness.
Serving and Cellaring
Serve at 11-13°C in a Chardonnay glass. Drink from 2026-2032 as complexity develops; pairs with pike quenelles, poultry in cream sauce, freshwater fish, or fresh goat cheeses.
