Joseph Drouhin Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2019

Joseph Drouhin Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2019

From the prestigious Maison Joseph Drouhin in Beaune, Burgundy, the Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2019 is a sublime Chardonnay from the iconic Corton hill. Sourced from biodynamically farmed vines on limestone-marl soils in Aloxe-Corton, it’s hand-harvested and fermented in French oak. Aged 12–15 months in oak (25% new), it offers a golden hue and profound complexity, reflecting the exceptional 2019 vintage.

Winemaking Process

Drouhin’s biodynamic craftsmanship defines this wine. The 2019 vintage undergoes gentle pressing and fermentation in French oak barrels, with partial malolactic fermentation for texture. Aging for 12–15 months in 25% new oak barrels enhances richness while preserving minerality, creating a full-bodied Chardonnay with vibrant acidity and a refined, creamy finish.
