Hand-harvested from the Hunting Hill vineyard (replanted 2001), whole-bunch pressed, 100% barrel-fermented (air-dried French oak, lightly toasted), full malolactic, aged on lees. Low-yield 2024 vintage delivers pristine ripe fruit concentration, reticent youth giving way to lemon/lime blossom, flint, and density needing bottle age.
Tasting Notes
Reticent aromas of lemon/lime blossom, flint, white peach, apple, stone fruit, lemongrass, basil, white flowers, star anise, fennel, scraped vanilla. Rich thunderous palate with salted citrus, exotic spices, creamy texture, phenolic drive, tight density, and long crunchy focused finish.
