Sourced from 50-55-year-old Nebbiolo vines in the Valeirano vineyard (Treiso) at 380-450m south-facing slopes with calcareous soils and drainage stones. Hand-harvested, macerated 14-15 days in temperature-controlled vats, malolactic in 20% new French oak barriques, aged 20-22 months oak plus 6 months bottle before release at 14.5% alcohol.

Tasting Notes
Ruby red; aromas of licorice, spices, cherry, and rose petals with dill, crushed herb, oak, toast, and balsamic notes. Firm palate shows dried cherry, licorice, espresso, savory spice, slightly sweet tannins, and compact mid-weight structure with persistent minerality.

Serving and Cellaring

Serve at 16-18°C in a Burgundy glass; decant 1-2 hours. Drink from 2026-2035+ as structure integrates; pairs with tajarin wild boar ragù, rabbit, roasted game, or truffle dishes.
