Leeuwin Estate Prelude Chardonnay 2023
From Leeuwin Estate in Western Australia’s Margaret River, the Prelude Chardonnay 2023 is a refined 100% Chardonnay from vineyards on gravelly soils. Fermented partly with wild yeast in Burgundian-coopered barriques (35% new) and aged for 10 months, it offers a pale gold hue with vibrant complexity.

A vibrant, refined white with crisp fruit and mineral finesse, showcasing Margaret River’s terroir.
The nose reveals ripe pear, yellow peach, and lemon curd, with hints of saline and spice. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and focused, with vibrant acidity, a mineral texture, and flavors of nashi pear, finger limes, and a long, iodine-laced finish.
