Hand-picked and sorted from old vines on Côte du Py's steep underwater volcano-derived blue rocks. Destemmed grapes macerate 3-4 weeks with pigeage/pumping over, aged 10 months in French oak barrels (new, 1-2yo from Allier/Limousin/Nivernais). 2021 overcame frost/mildew with careful viticulture, yielding charming, persistent wines.​

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby with black cherry, boysenberry, rose petal, hibiscus aromas. Velvety textured palate offers cherry, blackberry, spice, graphite, mineral, black/white pepper, black tea finish.

Serving and Cellaring
Serve at 14-16°C after 30-60 minutes decanting; drink 2025-2032. Pairs with charcuterie, grilled poultry, mushroom dishes, or aged cheeses.​
