From Maison Louis Jadot in France's Nuits-St-Georges appellation, the Nuits-St-Georges 2023 is a refined 100% Pinot Noir sourced from multiple terroirs within the appellation, featuring limestone and marl soils that impart structure and intensity. Hand-harvested grapes from the balanced 2023 vintage—characterized by moderate conditions yielding concentrated yet fresh fruit—undergo fermentation with natural yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by 16 months' aging in French oak barrels (one-third new) to enhance complexity and finesse. Committed to sustainable viticulture across their extensive holdings, this production yields a ruby wine with vibrant purity and poised elegance.

On the palate, it is medium-bodied and harmonious, with firm tannins, bright acidity, and flavors of juicy berries, forest floor, and subtle oak, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish.

Awards and Accolades The 2023 Nuits-St-Georges earned 87 points from Wine Spectator for its bold red fruits and vibrant acidity.

Serving and Cellaring Serve at 14-16°C with 30-45 minutes of decanting to enhance aromas. Ideal with roasted poultry, game, or mushroom dishes. Enjoy now through 2033, developing greater earthy and silky nuances over time.
