Puligny-Montrachet, situated to the south of Meursault and to the north of Chassagne-Montrachet, shares with Chassagne a handful of the greatest white wine vineyards in the world. Maison Louis Jadot vinifies the production of growers with whom it holds purchase agreements based on the quality of the harvest each year. The harvest is manual in small crates in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The grapes are then gently pressed and then fermented in the barrels of our cooperage, a third of which are new. Aging lasts about 15 months on fine lees before preparation for bottling.
